Here at Piggy Bank Pastures set in ten acres of rolling countryside on the outskirts of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire (the Gateway to the Cotswolds) we raise our poultry and livestock the old fashioned way as nature intended…outdoors.
We rear many different breeds of poultry, including both hybrid and pure breed chickens and bantams and many breeds of Ducks, all fully vaccinated and wormed. We feel it important that all our livestock should be free to display natural behaviour with the sky above their heads and the grass beneath their feet in the great outdoors.
As a family we have been breeding and raising poultry for over fifteen years and all this experience provides you with healthy and happy birds.
We believe buying chickens shouldn’t cost the earth, so here at Piggy Bank Poultry our prices are just £12 for our free range hybrid point of lay hens and start at £15 for our free range pure breeds (please don’t pay any more!) making keeping chickens an affordable hobby as well as a rewarding one.
We are happy to supply the first time keeper or home hobbyist keeper a few birds for the garden or in larger quantities for those wishing to purchase free range hardy birds on a more commercial scale and are looking for quality and good old fashioned service.
Furthermore, whether you purchase poultry from us or not, you will receive a warm welcome and we are always happy to advise on all aspects of poultry keeping, perform free wing clipping etc.
Visitors are always welcome to have a wander, pet the animals and chickens with no obligation to buy, but may we advise you to bring a box or two, just in case you are tempted!
